“Documenting A Flash of Cobalt Blue”

When Inés reached out to me about documenting the recording session for her album, A Flash of Cobalt Blue, I was immediately excited to be involved. I’ve always had a deep appreciation for music and the musicians dedicated to creating it—especially in a time when music is often consumed so casually that we forget the craft, collaboration, and emotion behind it.

I was also genuinely curious to witness the recording process firsthand. Watching each musician listen, respond, and contribute their part in real time was a rare experience. As a creative myself, being able to observe that level of focus, communication, and trust felt both inspiring and deeply human.
